Hand-Carved Kind Eider Drake

This hand carved and painted King Eider Drake looks even more amazing in person than it does in a photo. It was carved by local artist, Ray Tourangeau, who has won numerous awards in both Canada and the U.S. for his carvings of birds and fish.

This King Eider is life size. Eider down comes from this duck and his cousins.
