#20729 - CTR Railway Lantern

This great piece of railway history is a Grand Trunk railway lantern. Grand Trunk (GTR) became Canadian National Railways in 1923 so this lantern is definitely pre 1923. Glass is in perfect condition. It has the burner but the knob to adjust the wick ( the wick raiser knob) is missing.

*Fun fact: it was a Grand Trunk train that the famous elephant, Jumbo, charged in 1885. Kind of ironic that it was a Grand "Trunk" train.
